Ulverstone is located 125 km north west of Launceston and is an easy 20 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania terminal in Devonport.
From Devonport:
Travel west via the Bass Highway (1). Take the Eastland Drive exit (C142) to Heathcote street. Turn Right. At the end of the road turn left into Water Street. The BIG4 Ulverstone Holiday Park is on the right hand side.
From Launceston:
The scenic route
Take the West Tamer Highway (A7) north, travelling through Legana to Exeter, then turn left onto Port Sorrell Road (B71). Turn right onto the Bass Highway (1) via Devonport and then take the Eastland Drive exit (C142) to Heathcote Street. Turn right. At the end of the road turn left into Water Street. The BIG4 Ulverstone Holiday Park is on the right hand side.
The fastest route
Take the Bass Highway (1) west travelling via Elizabeth Town and Sassafras. Take the Eastland Drive exit (C142) to Heathcote Street. Turn Right. At the end of the road turn left into Water Street. The BIG4 Ulverstone Holiday Park is on the right hand side.
From Hobart:
The scenic route
Head north along the Midland Highway (1) to Melton. Take the Highland Lakes Road (A5) through Bothwell, Miena, Breona and Deloraine. Turn left to the Bass Highway (1) travelling to Elizabeth Town. Take the B13 travelling through Railton and Spreyton. Turn left onto the Bass Highway (1). Take the Eastland Drive exit (C142) to Heathcote Street. Turn right. At the end of the road turn left into Water Street. The BIG4 Ulverstone Holiday Park is on the right hand side.
The fastest route
Take the Midland Highway (1) north travelling through Pontville, Melton, Oatlands, Campbell Town and Perth. Keep travelling along Highway 1 (now called the Bass Highway) through Elizabeth Town and Sassafras. Take the Eastland Drive exit (C142) to Heathcote Street. Turn Right.
